Re: Playoff Football and 1:00 p.m. Early Dismissal on Friday, November 2nd
After defeating Mechanicsburg last weekend, our Panthers varsity football team will be playing the Ft. Frye Cadets in Beverly, Ohio Friday evening November 2nd. Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. (EDT).
Because of the distance to the game and Friday afternoon traffic, school will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd. Parents should expect the bus to bring their child(ren) home approximately two hours earlier than usual on November 2nd. Thank you all for your adjustment to these changes.
Pre-sale tickets will be available in the high school office as follows:
Tuesday, October 30th 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 31st 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 1st 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Fairbanks High School only receives a portion of the pre-sale ticket price that we sell. Our Athletic Department would greatly appreciate your ticket purchase from the high school office. The cost for all pre-sale tickets is $8.00. Tickets are $9.00 at the gate. These prices are set by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
The high school will be providing one to two Spirit Buses for our high school students to attend the game. The cost per student will be $20; this includes the bus cost and an entrance ticket to the game. Students will need to bring their own money for a meal at a fast food restaurant en route to the game and for any other food purchases at the game. There will be a short rest stop on the return trip to the high school after the game. A reminder to all students that there is to be no eating or drinking on the bus. The Spirit Buses will depart between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. from the front of the high school on November 2nd. The buses will return to the high school between midnight and 12:30 a.m. This is only an estimate.
