Courtesy Posting for OHC - League Commissioner

The Ohio Heritage Conference, made up of twelve schools in west-central Ohio, seeks a league Commissioner with an anticipated start date of summer 2022.  Any interested parties should contact OHC Board of Control President, Greg Johnson via email gjohnson@wlstigers.org by May 15, 2022.

 Duties of the Commissioner:

  • Keep records of all business transactions

  • Maintain and update accurate versions of OHC Constitution, By-Laws, and Appendices

  • Fulfil all tax-related responsibilities for the OHC, to include filing taxes and w-9 forms for all league employees and those who are paid over the minimum amount for services rendered

  • Attend and keep minutes of all meetings

  • Send copies of minutes to each member school

  • Pay all bills as allowed by the committee

  • Notify committee members of all regular and special meetings

  • Order all necessary materials, supplies, and trophies

  • Make all arrangements for tournaments and meets, attend and present awards at all final league events

  • Responsible for all schedules

  • Fulfill the duties of the commissioner as assigned for both Middle and High Schools in the league

  • Line up/distribute all league awards

  • Over-see league website

  • Communicate with assignors for end of season tournaments

  • Retain records of all conference & individual records

  • Yearly Salary Range:  $4,000.00 - $6,000.00

CERTIFIED TEACHING POSITIONS

Certified teaching positions are posted as they become available and do require licensure from the Ohio Department of Education. Throughout the year, we may have openings for Classified positions. These are positions that do not require a teaching license. All school staff are required to pass an FBI and BCI background check. 

General Education Aide

Fairbanks Local School District is seeking applications for two General Education Aides in the Middle and High Schools for the 2022-2023. Aides will be scheduled for 29 hours per week. Applicants need to have a current FBI/BCI background check and a current Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education. ESEA endorsement preferred. PAWS TEAM LEADER

POSITION:  TEAM LEADER

HOURS:  2:30PM – 6:00PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

Fairbanks Paws is an after school program for Fairbanks students enrolled in Kindergarten through 12 years of age.  Job Description:

  • Make a difference every day!!

  • As the Lead Teacher implement the daily program & lesson planning

  • Assist students’ with homework & study skills.

  • Encourage creativity & help students to discover new things.

  • Supervise the classroom, helping students to solve problems independently, and teaching them the importance of being respectful to themselves and to others.

  • Communicate with parents & help with weekly newsletters

  • Help maintain a clean, orderly classroom.

Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements including:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma

  • Have a minimum of five hundred  hours of documented related experience, or ninety quarter or sixty semester hours of successfully completed coursework at an accredited college or university.
