Duties of the Commissioner:
Keep records of all business transactions
Maintain and update accurate versions of OHC Constitution, By-Laws, and Appendices
Fulfil all tax-related responsibilities for the OHC, to include filing taxes and w-9 forms for all league employees and those who are paid over the minimum amount for services rendered
Attend and keep minutes of all meetings
Send copies of minutes to each member school
Pay all bills as allowed by the committee
Notify committee members of all regular and special meetings
Order all necessary materials, supplies, and trophies
Make all arrangements for tournaments and meets, attend and present awards at all final league events
Responsible for all schedules
Fulfill the duties of the commissioner as assigned for both Middle and High Schools in the league
Line up/distribute all league awards
Over-see league website
Communicate with assignors for end of season tournaments
Retain records of all conference & individual records
Yearly Salary Range: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00
Certified teaching positions are posted as they become available and do require licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
