Certified Application

  • Fairbanks Local School District is seeking applications for an Intervention Specialist. This position will be shared between the middle school and high school for the 2025-2026 school year. Salary is based on experiecne and is in accordance with the certified salary schedule.

  • All substitute teachers are hired through the ESC of Central Ohio. To apply to become a substitute teacher for Fairbanks Local Schools, please visit the ESC website and complete an online application.

    The ESC will hold a Substitute Hiring Event on July 23, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, 2080 Citygate Dr., Columbus, OH 43219. 

Classified Positions

Throughout the year, we may have openings for Classified positions. These are positions that do not require a teaching license. All school staff are required to pass an FBI and BCI background check. 

Classified Application

  • Fairbanks Local School District is seeking applications for a 2nd shift (3pm-9pm) part-time custodian. Applicants must pass an FBI/BCI background check.

  • Fairbanks Local School District has an opening for a full-time (4-5 hours per day) bus driver. No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training. Applicants need to have a current FBI/BCI background check.

  • Fairbanks Local Schools is seeking substitutes in the following areas:

    • Bus Drivers (No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training)

    • Custodians

    • Educational Aides

    • School Nurses

    Substitutes are required to pass FBI and BCI background checks. Educational Aides must hold a current Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Bus Drivers must hold proper license and training is available. Substitutes are contacted on an as needed basis to cover for our classified employees.
