Good afternoon Fairbanks Families,
Next week, two of the school district’s annual communications will be shared across the Fairbanks Community. The first is the “Measurements that Matter”. This district profile shares the work happening across Fairbanks. District residents will receive it in their mailboxes in early March, but you can sneak preview the digital version here:
The second communication is the “State of the Schools”. March 4 through March 8 is State of the Schools week in Fairbanks Local Schools. This annual event is a way to showcase the great things as well as the opportunities we have together in Fairbanks.
This year our event will be week long. Each day we will share a video on our website, social media, and through email highlighting parts of the school district. Here is the lineup for next week:
Monday - State of the Schools Introduction
Tuesday - Authentic Learning in the High School
Wednesday - Real Life Learning in the Middle School
Thursday - After School Clubs in the Elementary School
Friday - Master Facility Plan
