Intervention Specialist

The Fairbanks Local School District (Milford Center, OH) is seeking an Intervention Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year. Fairbanks is located in Central Ohio serving roughly 1,100 students in grades K-12 on a shared campus. This position is anticipated to serve in the grades 6-12. 

Expectations: The ideal candidate will provide instruction, care, supervision and appropriate educational/developmental programming and/or instruction for students with a range of disabilities.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Possession or eligibility for a valid Ohio Department of Education K-12 Intervention Specialist License, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive teaching field.

Substitute Teaching Positions

Classified Positions

Throughout the year, we may have openings for Classified positions. These are positions that do not require a teaching license. All school staff are required to pass an FBI and BCI background check. 

Bus Driver

Fairbanks Local School District has an opening for a full-time (4-5 hours per day) bus driver for the 2024-2025 school year. No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training. Applicants need to have a current FBI/BCI background check.

Substitutes are required to pass FBI and BCI background checks. Educational Aides must hold a current Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Bus Drivers must hold proper license and training is available. Substitutes are contacted on an as needed basis to cover for our classified employees.
