Parent Resources for Extended Closure

The first expectation for all Fairbanks Local Schools staff is CARE ABOUT KIDS. We are focusing more on that now than ever but we’ve extended our thinking to CARE ABOUT FAMILIES. There are more stressors on families now than we’ve seen in a long time. While we are trying to keep your children’s education moving forward we are also aware of not trying to add stress to your family right now. The teachers at Fairbanks are working hard to supply your student with the best quality over quantity instruction that is possible in a remote learning situation. We ask you to try to take advantage of this time with your family and enjoy some family games, walks or exploration in your backyard. We will get through this together!

Below are just a few resources that you may find useful to your children while they are learning at home. These are not requirements! If you ever have any questions or concerns while we are going through this remote learning time, please reach out to your teacher, principal, counselor or Mr. Schirg. Again, our focus is on CARE ABOUT FAMILIES!
