High School Principal

The Fairbanks Local School District is seeking a High School Principal for the 2021-2022 school year. The high school is home to approximately 375 students in grades 9-12 and is part of the Ohio Heritage Athletic Conference. The high school principal is responsible for the growth, development and oversight of approximately thirty staff members and a varying number of extra curricular coaches, advisors and volunteers.

Expectations:

The ideal candidate will be able to convey a proven ability to work with students, parents, teachers, staff and community; a strong understanding of secondary curriculum and programs; and a demonstrated record of successful teaching. Master's Degree

Possession or eligibility for a valid Ohio Secondary Principal Certificate or License

Details:

Certified 225 Day Administrative Contract and Benefits

Compensation: $94,740 - $106,630 (based on experience)

Middle School Math & Science Teacher

The ideal candidate will provide math and science instruction to middle grade students (6th - 8th grade) in a public school setting.

Bachelor’s Degree

Possession or eligibility for a valid Ohio Department of Education License in both Math and Science Teaching Fields, Middle Childhood (4-9) designation is preferred.

classified positions

Throughout the year, we may have openings for Classified positions. These are positions that do not require a teaching license. All school staff are required to pass an FBI and BCI background check. 

Part-Time Custodian

Fairbanks Local Schools has an opening for a Part-Time Custodian for the 2020-2021 school year. This role will contribute approximately 4 hours per day or 20 hours per week to assist the team with cleaning and sanitation efforts.

Fairbanks Local Schools is seeking substitutes for the 2020-2021 school year in the following areas:

  • Bus Drivers (No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training.)
  • Custodians
  • Cooks
  • Educational Aides

Substitutes are required to pass FBI and BCI background checks. Educational Aides must hold a current Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Bus Drivers must hold proper license and training is available. Substitutes are contacted on an as needed basis to cover for our classified employees.
