1. Brainstorm everything you can think of about your favorite season. Think about activities, holidays, weather and nature, etc....
2. Web out the essay.
3. Write the intro to your essay.
Read R4 in the reading book. Read the web article in the lit book called "Passing on the Flame." Do the worksheet comparing text organizers. This worksheet will be uploaded tomorrow.

- Capture our interest - question and answer, description, anecdote, interesting comment, definition, words to describe
- Preview three points/topics without saying something like "I'm going to tell you about..." or "My three topics are..."
- End with a thesis statement that states your position - What your favorite season is
