The podcast team is taking their podcast that they did last week and editing it with pictures and songs on the computer. They are doing the 2nd grade podcast first then next week they will do the third grade. Sarah and Seth are working together with theirs and so are Emma and Wyatt. With all their team work and concentration they can accomplish anything.
In the Comic Life Team,the team members have been going over their comic for new students ''Fairbanks Panthers,Recess Rules!'' They are just finishing up their comic,and making sure it is as fun as possible for the new kids to read at Fairbanks Elementary.
Jacob and Ben were filming the art room and took pictures of the projects. They also took pictures of the some of the projects in the show -
cases. Mr. Redmond wanted a key to the library because it was locked. The kids, which are the others that work with Mr.Redmond, went down and got the key to the library. The group got in and they are now going outside to film. I, Gabbie May, went with Maddy and Ceira. They are going all around the school then to the baseball field. Wow,they got some nice shots of our playground and our school. That was all in the video group, 2012 Wed. April 11. Thank You!!!!!

In the Podcasting Team,the students have been adding little details to preschool and second grade teacher interviews so people will like to listen to the podcasts they make for the new Fairbanks elementary students. The students were correcting the pauses and taking them out of the podcast.
Mrs.Hegenderfer is taking pictures of Charlie, Jowell and Kendra to put in their comic book . They are putting photos in it and speech
bubbles beside the photos and they are all about recess rules. The cover is Charlie as Recess Man with a big R on his chest.
The video group is getting their stuff, going over the rules for the cameras and splitting up to take videos of things and people. I went with Maddy Bailey and Ceira Madison to the window by the gym. Maddy and Ceira are going to take a video of the basketball team. Now they are going to take a video of Mr. Filman. They will be interviewing him with all types of HILARIOUS questions. My favorite question was what was your favorite animal? That was a very random question wasn't it? Now they are interviewing Mr. (social studies) Hammond with their technical things. I gave them an idea for a question. It was who was your favorite teacher when you were little? His answer was Mrs.Thompson. Next they went to Mr. ( math) Hammond. Thy asked him all the questions that they asked Mr. (social studies) Hammond.THat is what happened with the video group today 3-28-12. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

The Podcast Group is interviewing second grade and first grade. Taylor and Bella are interviewing Mr. Tate, Mrs Dulle, Mrs Williams, and Mrs Cook. Bella,, Seth, Wyat, Emma, and Sarah are interviewing Mrs. Galsterer, Mrs. Jones, and Mrs. Schaffer. Soon they will finish the videos and post it on the iPanther website to show to next year's Panther Kids.
In the video group Maddy and Ciera are video taping the office. Jacob and Grace are video taping and taking pictures of the hallway and
the classrooms. They took pictures of Mrs. Lucas's room and Mr. Hammond's room and also the music room.
Hayden Hoover wants us to know that Comic Life is the best group ever!!!!! The team is thinking about a title for their comic. Maybe it could be "Recess Man Rules." Mrs.Hegenderfer and two other girls are looking for a good picture for Recess Man. Charlie is Recess Man. Wow it must be hard work to be a super hero like that. Hayden, Gabe, and Issac are finishing up their Comic Life page. Mrs. Hegenderfer said that they are supposed to be finishing up today. The comic is about recess rules. That explains Recess Man's name. They want to print but can they get done in time to print their comics? WOW!!!!!!!!!! They want 10 copies of the comic. There must be a lot of people in that group. That is what happened in the Comic crew today March 14, 2012.

At the beginning of our session today, we all met in one room to watch the Podcast Team's finished interview of Mr. Lotycz. Then we shared our blog. Our assignment today is to post the Interview Podcast to our blog for others to enjoy.
Today, we set out again to learn what the other groups were doing. Danielle watched as the video team began planning their actual movie. They got on imovie and looked at their past pictures. On imovie, they learned some tricks to making their movie good.
Elizabeth observed the Comic Team. They are making a new comic called "Recess Man." It's about teaching the new kids about recess rules. Charlie is "Recess Man" and they began taking pictures for their comic strip.
Taylar went to the Podcasting Team to find out what they were up to next. They were asked to log into Google Docs and write a letter to a teacher asking for an interview so that they could create another podcast.

The Video Team consists of Maddy, Ben, Grace, Cierra, and Jacob. This group is going around the school. They have taken pictures and videos of all the classrooms starting with preschool and going up. There will be a few familiar faces such as Mr. Lotcyz and Mrs. Cooper. They are putting time and thought into the videos, and doing things like panning, zooming, and more. They are deciding which classrooms look best so the welcome video will be a success.
The Video Team has learned how to handle the cameras. Today they are going to look over the office, kindergartner's room, and first grade rooms. They will be looking over the rooms now, and film the movie later.
This group, Sarah, Wyatt, Bella, Seth, Emma, Taylor, and Rachel wrote questions to make podcasts of interviews from teachers and staff members. They wrote letters asking to interview and record their interview on a voice recorder. They wrote them on laptops and used google docs to edit them as a group. They interviewed Mr. Lotcyz. Today they added pictures and music to the podcast and fixing the errors.
The Comic Group Team members include Jacob, Kendra, Hayden, Gabe, Isaac, Joelle, Charlie, and Dillon. The Comic Group is watching a slide show. They have to get a picture off of the computer or sketch a picture and tell Mrs. Hegenderfer what it is. They are using Comic LIfe on the computers. They took photos outside last week. They are working on playground rules, and using their pictures on Comic Life to create a comic book.
We are the Blogging Team. WE, are Danielle Macklin, Elizabeth Arend, Taylor Sphapmixay, Gabbie May, Mindi Cogdill, and Allison Kise. We are learning about writing a blog. We went and watched the other iPanther groups to see what they were doing. iPanthers is putting together a welcoming kit for the new kids here at Fairbanks Elementary School. As a group, we thought about what we were going to write about to introduce a new student and to welcome them to Fairbanks Elementary School. The other groups in iPanthers are making podcasts, videos, and comics and we take notes from each group.
iPanthers are back in action for 2012. We are going to be working on a New Student Welcome Packet!
The Fairbanks Elem. Computer Club has been making a movie about school spirit . We interviewed Mr. Lotycz and Mrs. Jones.
