Last week we learned about Native Americans. We learned about plateaus, California intermountain, Southwest, Southeast, Great Plains, Eastern Woodlands, and Northwest coastal regions. The Native Americans of the Great Plains hunted buffalos. They made sure sure no part of the buffalo was wasted. They used the skin for clothing, shelter, and protection. They also made buffalo teepees, blankets, and skin shields. They ate the meat. As you can see there are lots of different Native American cultural regions.
