On September 17, 2010, two members from our chapter went to OSU campus to compete in a competition. Jessica Dunlap, and I (Abby), had to write a research paper of at least 2,200 words or more about a third world country. Jessica wrote about the current drought in Russia, and I wrote about the water scarcity and sanitation problem in India. At OSU, we presented our papers in front of a panel of three judges, and other students. By participating in the contest, Jessica and I were able to learn about problems in other countries, and possible solutions for these problems.
