Mark Lippencott, Board President
Mark is a lifetime resident of Fairbanks Local School District. He graduated in from Fairbanks in 1970 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1974. His wife Sue and two children, Courtney and Mitch are also Fairbanks graduates He retired from Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in 2017, after working in the Corporate Facilities and Environmental department. Mark was appointed to the Board of Education in 2007, elected to the Board in November of 2008, re-elected 2012, and 2016. Mark was appointed board president in January 2018.
"The support of the community allows our district to attract and keep strong teachers, faculty and staff. That same support provides the facilities and the extra curricular activities that have allowed our students to reach an "Excellent" rating. As board members, I believe it is our responsibility to keep the community informed and involved in order to provide the best opportunity possible for our students."
Lisa Adkins, Board Vice President
Lisa and her husband have lived in the Fairbanks school district for over 15 years. they have a son and daughter who graduated from Fairbanks in 2006 and 2014. Currently, we have a son who is a senior and a daughter who is a sophomore at Fairbanks. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. She recently returned to work full time as a Technical Service Representative in the area of reinforced composites at Ashland in Dublin. As a member of the board since 2011, she genuinely enjoys working with the community, teachers, and students in continuing to provide an excellent education for the students of our district.
Angie Bouic, Board Member
Angie Bouic moved into the Fairbanks district 15 years ago after marrying her husband who is a lifetime Fairbanks resident. Three of their children graduated from Fairbanks/Tolles in 2014, 2015 and 2017. Currently, they have son who is a junior at FHS. She spent 7 years in the US Army as a Parachute Rigger and completed her Bachelor's degree at DeVry University in 2006 in Business Technical Management. She currently works at Scotts Miracle Gro in the Orders to Cash area, managing the Lowes Account Receivables. She's active in the community as a 4H advisor for the Watkins Panthers and a rifle instructor for the Darby Clover Shooting Sports Club. She was recently elected to the board and looks forward to serving the community and ensuring our kids get the most out of their educational experience at Fairbanks.
Derek Nicol, Board Member
Derek and his wife have lived in the Fairbanks Local School District their entire lives and are both Fairbanks graduates. They cannot imagine a better place to live and raise their three children. They have two daughters and a son that attend Fairbanks. Derek has worked for the City of Marysville for 18 years in the Division of Water, where he holds water distribution and supply licenses. He also has a passion for agriculture, and is involved in his family farm's day-to-day operation.

Brian Phelps, Board Member
Brian and his wife Summer are both lifelong residents of Fairbanks School District. They have 4 children that have/will graduate from Fairbanks. Brian received his bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Morehead State University. After graduation, he came back to pursue a career in the family business, which includes helping to manage their logistics company & farm operation. Brian is committed to making sure all Fairbanks students are prepared for success.
David Baits, Ph.D., interim Superintendent
David Baits began as the Interim Superintendent on August 9, 2018, and will serve until the new superintendent takes office. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education (1971) and Master of Arts in Teaching (1976), both in Mathematics, from Bowling Green State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership (1990) from Ohio State University. He taught mathematics for a total of fifteen years at the American Graded School in Sao Paulo, Brazil; North Olmsted High School; Kenton Junior High School; St. Johns’ International School, Brussels, Belgium; and Providence Day School and Charlotte Christian School, both in Charlotte, North Carolina. He served as the 7-12 Principal at Cedarville High School for three years and then as the Cedar Cliff Schools Superintendent for twenty years before retiring in 2013. Post retirement he served for two years as Superintendent at Clinton-Massie Local Schools and has substitute taught at Greeneview Local Schools.

Aaron Johnson, Treasurer
Aaron Johnson has been the district Treasurer/CFO for the past 16 years. Originally from the Buckeye Lake, Ohio area, Aaron is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Degree in Business Administration, along with years of post-graduate study in Accounting and Finance from Franklin University.

Jaynie Lambert, Tolles Board of Education Liaison
Jaynie and her husband Keith, have resided in the Fairbanks district since 1993. They are parents to two Fairbanks graduates, Brittany (Class of 2005) and David (Class of 2007). She earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Cedarville University in 1978. She performed graduate work at the University of Houston. She has 10 years teaching experience, 5 of those years at Fairbanks. She was a Book Buddy at Fairbanks Elementary for 12+ years. In 2001, she joined her husband to help run the family business, Lambert Jewelers in Marysville. She was elected to the Fairbanks Board in 2002, and has served for 16 years. She served on The Central Region Ohio School Board Executive Committee from 2010 to 2016 and elected to the All Ohio School Board in 2012. She has also served on the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board 2005-2015 and is currently appointed to serve on the Tolles Career and Technical Center School Board through 2020.
